How we think
Clear positioning and honest disclaimers matter more than marketing language.
myTSH is a projection tool — not a medical advisor.
We built myTSH to help people see the likely trajectory of their TSH based on their own logged data (dose, weight, lab results) and a literature-derived pharmacokinetic model.
It answers the question: "If things continue like this, where is my TSH probably headed?"
It does not tell you what dose to take. It does not diagnose anything. It does not replace your doctor.
Why the strong disclaimers exist
- Levothyroxine dosing is highly individual and affected by many factors we cannot see (absorption, adherence, other medications, lab timing, etc.).
- Even the best model is still a model. Real biology has variance.
- People using this tool are often already on thyroid medication and working with a physician. We do not want to interfere with that relationship.
- We are launching in Colombia first. Regulatory and cultural expectations around health tools are taken seriously.
What the tool actually does
- Lets you log dose, weight, and TSH over time in a simple, installable web app.
- Uses a per-person adjusted model (starting from published PK data) to project how your TSH might respond to different weekly dose levels.
- Shows uncertainty ranges because certainty would be dishonest.
- Only generates projections when you actively ask "what if" type questions.
Our philosophy on early-stage health tools
We believe the responsible thing at this stage is maximum transparency and minimum claims. The product will improve as we collect more real longitudinal data from users who choose to share it. Until then, we treat every piece of language as something that could influence a real person's decisions.
If something in the app or on this site feels unclear, over-confident, or insufficiently cautious — please tell us. We would rather be corrected early than cause confusion later.
Colombia-first note: We are starting with users in Colombia through direct relationships. This is not because other countries don't need better tools — it's because we can move faster, learn more directly, and maintain higher standards of honesty while the product is still early.
