myTSH is a projection and forecasting tool for levothyroxine dose adjustment. It is not a medical advisor and does not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments.

Health data we process

When you use myTSH you may enter personal health information including:

• Levothyroxine dose history
• Body weight
• TSH lab results and other thyroid-related measurements
• Symptoms or notes you choose to record

We process this data solely to generate personal projections and forecasts so you and your doctor can see likely trends. We do not use your health data to diagnose, treat, or recommend specific doses.

IP address and geolocation

At signup (and in some cases on other actions) we capture your IP address and a best-effort approximate country based on it. This information is stored against your user record in an append-only event log.

Why we do this: We are launching first in Colombia using a "security by selection" approach. Capturing approximate location helps us understand our user base and comply with local expectations around health data tools. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Colombia Ley 1581 (Habeas Data)

Under Colombian law, health data is considered sensitive. We only process it when you give explicit authorization (the consent checkbox you see at signup: "I authorize myTSH to process my health data.").

You have the rights granted by Ley 1581, including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your data. Contact us at support@mytshapp.com to exercise these rights.

Third parties that may receive your data

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider (data processor)
• PostHog — product analytics (we use it in a privacy-respecting configuration)
• IP geolocation service — used only to derive approximate country at signup

These providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed by us and to maintain appropriate security.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains under your control. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We retain event logs for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for safety and legal reasons.
